Woolworth Photos and History 1972
Woolworth opened in 1969, along with Sears in Phase 1 of the Southern Park Mall. By 1998, the store permanently closed. This being said, the majority of the space did not go vacant. It was split four ways into Foot Locker - Mens/Ladies/Kids, and an Afterthoughts. All four brands were owned by Woolworth. A portion of the space was also used by Jillian’s which opened in 1999 and had no affiliation with Woolworth.

Joseph Horne Co. Photos and History
Joseph Horne Co, or simply Horne's opened in 1972 as Southern Park's fourth and final anchor store. It was considered the "Luxury" department store of the malls Sears, Strouss', and J.C.Penney locations. The store was open until being bought out by the Dillard's chain in 1992. Following the nameplate change, the store was renovated and expanded to match the Dillard's chain.
